Since you are marrying out of the US, you can apply for the green card but your wife will have to wait in her country for the approval. This can take up to one year.
The quicker route is you file the K1 and then bring her to the US for marriage. She is interviewed in her country and then can enter the US for marriage. This takes an average of 6 months.
